1. Press F12.
2. Click “Referral Protocol”.
3. Click the type of referral.
4. Choose where you would like to refer (you’ll need the patient’s borough):
Enter the postcode to find the borough: https://www.gov.uk/find-local-council
Use the borough to search the Directory of Services: https://gps.northcentrallondon.icb.nhs.uk/pathways

5. Follow the prompts and select which information you want to include in the referral.
6. Edit the Word document as required.
7. Click “File” to save.
8. Click “Send Task to Referral Team”.
9. Click “Referral”.
