Controlled Drugs

Can issue using professional judgement (pain clinic, end of life, post-op). 2 weeks where appropriate, up to 1 month for repeats.

Add CDs to repeat if indicated by secondary care β€” MAX 30 day supply. Request appointment for CD to be discussed with patient and issued.

Repeat prescribing

Supply up to 56 days if appropriate. Review at 12 months (sooner if new medication).
